The Meizu MX4 Pro could be out by November but it already has the spotlight as early as now.

It's quite different from the capacitive touch buttons in previous Meizu flagships such as the MX4, among others. The switch is due to the fingerprint scanner said to be embedded in the home key.

The device is named as a Pro but the smartphone is rumored to have similar specs as that of the officially available Meizu MX4 phone. The only difference between the two handsets is the MX4 Pro will come with an Exynos 5430 octa-core processor from Samsung while the MX4 comes with a MediaTek SoC.

According to reports, the Meizu MX4 Pro will have a 5.36-inch QHD screen with a 2560 x 1536 pixels resolution and 3 GB of RAM. It's said to sport a 20.7 megapixel camera from Sony and will run on Android 4.4 with Flyme OS user interface which is a customized Android version built by the Chinese company.

The YunOS-powered version was also leaked recently but will likely be exclusive to China.

The Meizu MX4 was shown featuring a glossy white body. The manufacturer will launch a gold rear cover edition soon.

Meizu is also rumored to be building a Meizu MX4 Mini smartphone which will come with dual SIM support.
