Hong Kong actress Michelle Ye's dog reportedly attacked and mauled Mainland Chinese actress Li Yi Xiao during a party they've both attended in Hengdian China, which caused the latter to sustain severe wounds to the head and ear.
According to Chinese media reports, last September 22, Li and Ye both attended Mainland Chinese actor Yin Xiao Tian's birthday celebration which was held at the Hengdian World Studios. Ye allegedly brought her two pet dogs, one being a large Alaskan dog which was unleashed and later attacked Yi.

Based on witness accounts, the Alaskan dog pounced at the actress out of the blue, knocking her down to the ground. As the dog was not on a leash, Ye was not able to control the dog.
The Chinese actress was immediately rushed to the hospital after the incident. Li is said to have been bitten at the back of her head and left ear, resulting to a total of 20 stitches for two separate wounds on her head and additional stitches to patch up her ear.
Although the attack happened back in September, the media has not been alerted of the incident until recently. It was only last October 14, 22 days after the attack, when Li posted about her injury on her Sina Weibo account.
On her lengthy post, the actress stated that she does not blame anyone for the accident and has not complained either, claiming that the turn of events was beyond anyone's control.
The actress said, "I will just treat this accident as an unavoidable tribulation in my life."
Li is currently filming for the TV adaptation of 'Xiao Shiyi Lang' and since her accident, the production crew has initially planned to adjust the schedules in order to give her time to heal. However, the actress stated that she didn't want to cause setbacks, immediately filming four days after the attack.
On another post which was posted last Tuesday by her management, it was revealed that the actress recuperated well and that her stitches had been removed already. Her management also stated that they do not want to dwell on the incident.
