Hong Kong actress Selena Li, despite being one of the tops female talents of TVB, admits that she 'lacks ambition' in her life, saying that it's enough for her to have tried her best in what she does.

The former beauty queen has been dubbed as one of the top actresses of TVB, her managing company, with her long-running career in the small screen, however, the actress admitted that she does not have too much ambition in life.

The actress states that in her work, she doesn't really get too ambitious. Li said that she just lets things take their course naturally. "It is enough that I tried my best," says the actress, adding that she is contented with how things in her life are at the moment.

While everyone has their attention turned to the TV Queen title which causes rivalry among actresses like her, Li claims that she does not dwell too much on getting the award. According to her, awards aren't too important and that putting too much emphasis on them would just cause more pressure and unhappiness.

The actress also shared how her parents' divorce shaped her as a person. Despite being a member of a broken family, the actress says that she is not afraid to get married in the future.

The actress, who has a traditional, family-oriented mindset, says that she does not believe in divorce and marriage should be considered a permanent thing between a husband and his wife.

Li says that she would definitely want to get married, but thinks that there are no suitable candidates for her to choose from just yet. The actress also added that since the person she would choose would be her life-long partner, she has to be careful about choosing.

As for her preferences in a partner, Li kept it simple, saying that she wants someone whom she could get along well, one who is capable of looking after her and of course, someone who can stay faithful to her.
