'Django Unchained' actress Daniele Watts and her boyfriend, Brian James Lucas, have been reportedly arrested for lewd conduct, following an incident wherein she accused a Los Angeles police officer of racial profiling.
According to media reports, Watts and Lucas were allegedly detained by the LAPD last September 11 for lewd conduct after they were purportedly caught having sexual intercourse in a car outside of the CBS Studios building.

The actress denied the allegations, saying that she and Lucas were merely making out, but witness accounts stated that the she had been straddling her boyfriend with her chest exposed.
Furthermore, according to the 28-year old actress, the incident was a result of racial profiling on the part of the officer who arrested them. The police allegedly made a mistake, thinking that Watts was a prostitute and Lucas was her client.
The actress allegedly refused to show her ID to the police officer when it was asked from her. Watts was then handcuffed and was detained in a police car while the officer tried to see who she was. Watts then reportedly said that she cut her wrist as a result of being roughly handled by the LAPD officers.
After the incident, the actress has taken to Facebook to air her grievances against the police, writing that while she was sitting inside the police car, she remembered the numerous incidents wherein her father came home either frustrated or humiliated by cops when he hasn't done anything wrong.
"I felt his shame, his anger, and my own feelings of frustration for existing in a world where I have allowed myself to believe that 'authority figures' could control my BEING, my ability to BE!" the actress wrote.
However, other media reports stated that Watts and her boyfriend have been charged with lewd conduct, and based on LAPD audio and eyewitness accounts, the police were merely doing their job.
If convicted, Watts and Lucas may possibly be imprisoned for six months. The couple is also said to be scheduled for a court hearing next month.
On the other hand, in response to Watts' allegations, the LAPD officer in question, Jim parker, firmly denied that he had been racially biased, saying that the actress' claims were 'malicious and false'.
