Samsung and Barnes & Noble have now released the latest Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1 tablet, a spin off from the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 4 Nook tablet unveiled in August, which came out as a bit too small for some users.
The 10.1-inch tablet is filled with Nook-related goodies like Nook apps and some US$200 worth of free content from the Nook Store. It will feature best-selling books, popular TV shows, and top magazine applications for the users’ interest.

The tablet will also have a Chrome browser and Google Play store as well.
The bigger Nook tablet has 1280 x 800 screen resolution, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD slot for storage expansion, 3-megapixel primary camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has built-in GPS capability for location-based apps. Samsung's Multi Window feature is also included in the tablet allowing users to use more than one app simultaneously.
"Customers are telling us that they love the reading and entertainment experience on our new 7-inch Samsung Nook and we're certain that the addition of the stunning 10-inch model alongside our popular Nook GlowLight eReader will ensure that there's a perfect device for everyone in the family at Barnes & Noble this holiday season and beyond," said Michael P. Huseby, B&N CEO.
Consumers can now purchase the Samsung Tab 4 Nook 10.1 in Barnes & Noble stores nationwide and online as well. Its introductory price is US$299.99.
