NASA recently teamed up with SoundCloud to release an online collection of noises created by humans.

It's an extensive library of audio clips associated with historic space voyages that cut across decades. SoundCloud will serves as a time capsule of the exciting years when the United States first blasted off into space.

The playlist was launched last week and contains over 60 clips in MP3 format and m4r format, as well for iPhones

The audio selection ranges from historical moments in space history to the sound of lightning on Jupiter to rocket launches. Other audio sounds are transmissions from various missions, hypnotic radio waves emanating from the Earth's atmosphere, and even clips from John F. Kennedy's historic speech committing the U.S.'s to win the space race against the USSR.

It also features short clips including Neil Armstrong's immortal 'one small step for man' speech after he became the first human to set foot on the Moon. Users can also listen to the beep of the Soviet satellite Sputnik 1, the first man-made object ever to orbit Earth.

These audio clips can be downloaded for free on NASA's SoundCloud page. Users just need to follow the guidelines found on the link in their SoundCloud bio.

Partnering with SoundCloud makes it easy for people to access these audio sounds.

People can also share these audio files on their social networks and make them into ringtones, as well.
