Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth star in 'Before I Go To Sleep'

Nicole Kidman stars alongside Colin Firth in the movie "Before I go to Sleep" which is based on the 2011 Best Selling Novel of the same name.
In an interview Kidman was quoted saying "There are very few thriller, more so psychological thrillers that play just in your face and the psychology of the character even with just very little dialogue."

The film centers around Kidman's character, Christine, who survived a brutal accident ten years ago and wakes up not remembering her husband, played by Colin Firth, her husband then tells her about their story every single day to help her remember their relationship. Christine then secretly meets up with a doctor, played by Mark Strong, who goes on to try and prod her memory of things. The twist in this film is who between the two men is the villain, who is withholding things from Christine.
The director, Rowan Joffe also wrote the screenplay for the film. Joffe was quoted saying that the film had Nicole talking to him about the childlike position her character was in "Because she had no choice but to completely trust the authority of a responsible adult."
Before filming started 47-year old Nicole did some research about her characters illness, Psychogenic amnesia because she wanted to know if it was real because there are a lot of people who think that it isn't. Kidman also revealed that she and her manager approached Joffe after she had read the script
The film will be released on September 12th, 2014.
