A 15-year-old Michigan teen was arraigned and charged on Thursday after conspiring with her 23-year-old boyfriend to kill her whole family and stabbing her younger brother multiple times, officials confirmed.

Roksana Sikorski has been charged with one count of assault with intent to commit murder, one count of felonious assault, one count of using a computer to commit crime, and four counts of conspiracy to commit murder when she appeared in Wayne County District Court located at Plymouth Township. She is again to appear in court by the 31st of October.

Sikorski was charged as an adult as she has stabbed her 12-year-old brother numerous times and had her boyfriend, Michael Rivera, outside their Detroit home texting her instructions on how to kill the rest of her family.

According to Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy, Sikorski entered their house on October 17 and stabbed her brother in the throat then tried to also stab her sister but did not succeed.

The family then got out of the area and went to the hospital where Sikorski's brother was treated. Worthy pressed that the alleged actions of the couple toward Sikorski's family is "truly haunting".

Rivera was arrested on Sunday and was charged immediately. Both she and her boyfriend are being held on a US$1 million bond and have not yet entered a plea.

Worthy pressed that the court rarely charges a 15-year-old as an adult but the facts in the case are strong enough to allow them to do so. However, Sikorski's attorney, Leslie Posner, noted that her client never had a criminal record in the past and contested the court's decision of charging her as an adult.

According to authorities, the two wanted to run away together which is why they conspired to kill the teen's family. Sikorski reportedly left their home and moved in with Rivera back in August.

Sikorki's parents also released a statement alleging that the young woman has a mental disorder and she only did what she did because her boyfriend told her to. Sikorski and her two other siblings were adopted by Laurene Sikorski and her husband.
