The Xbox One will get a new AAA IP as speculations start to emerge around the upcoming Rare project involving Unreal engine and cloud usage. DualShockers spotted several new job postings including a Principal Technical Artist, Rendering Software Engineer and Services Software Engineer. Based on the job descriptions, Rare has been working on the development of the upcoming project which could be an AAA adventure that will be an eye-opener to fans.

It was also announced that the Unreal Engine or an equivalent one will be included in the project because the Principal Technical Artist is required to have experience with software. Additionally, someone is needed to handle the cloud for one which suits the Microsoft Azure cloud. Microsoft has purchased Rare and it can be exciting to find out what games they will develop in the future.

Meanwhile, five areas will get the Xbox One Digital TV Tuner which allows the Xbox One to show users free-to-air HD TV. These areas are Spain, France, Germany, Italy and the UK. The Xbox Wire has Xbox One Digital TV tuner functions including TV Listings in OneGuide for easy navigation through a Kinect voice command remote controller.

The users can also view TV and play games at the same time through Snap Mode. The users will still receive game notifications and invitations while watching TV. It can also be the other way around with the main screen showing games and the TV showing in the side screen.

Live TV enables fast-forwarding and Pause TV while the SmartGlass allows TV streaming over the home network directly to a Windows device, iOS or Android. The Xbox One Digital TV Tuner costs £24.99 or €29.99 at the Microsoft Store.
