It was originally reported that the shots fired by the student didn't actually cause any fatalities other than the death of himself, according to Marysville police spokesman Robert Lamoureox.
Authorities were first alerted to the shooting after a 911 call from someone inside the school at around 1:30 p.m. ET.
Reports from witnesses locked inside the school claims the shooting began inside the school cafeteria. Some students thought it was initially some sort of fire drill before teachers exclaimed that there's a shooting and to run and lock themselves in classrooms.
