Although celebrity couple Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are going through a tough time with divorce, Cannon says that he and Carey are trying to maintain good relationships with each other.
When the rapper appeared on "The Meredith Vieira Show" on Friday, October 24, Cannon opened up about his divorce and answered some questions that the public has been wanting to get answered.

The former Nickelodeon star talked about his relationship with his estranged wife. He said that a lot of the rumors that were circulating about his divorce were untrue.
"You know what I heard the other day? I heard that there's a family dispute over our eight dogs. It's the Jack Russell puppy dispute," Cannon said.
The "America's Got Talent" host set the record straight, saying that the issue is far less dramatic than that.
"It's truly just staying focused on family and what's right and getting through these times and doing what's right for the kids," he said.
He and the singer have two children together, twins Moroccan and Monroe, 2, whom the couple welcomed in April. The two have been married for three years prior the twins' birth and have suffered from infertility and a miscarriage.
When asked about the kids, whether they were aware of their parents' divorce or not, Cannon simply answered, "They're just happy. They love mommy, they love daddy."
"We've always been people who are kind of on the go, coming and going, so their life hasn't changed one bit," he said.
"We spend holidays together, we do everything that we're supposed to do together," the "Drumline" actor said.
Cannon also talked about his new tattoo. Recently, the actor was spotted with a different tattoo on his back. Turns out, the actor had covered up the big "Mariah" tattoo on his back with a new, more elaborate piece.
