Fourth seeds Cara Black and Sania Mirza stunned defending champions Peng Shuai and Hsieh Su-Wei 6-1 6-0 to win the doubles competition of the BBP Paribas WTA Finals in Singapore on Sunday.
As soon as Peng and Hsieh held their serves in the very first game of the first set, everything went Black and Mirza's way as they broke the Chinese mainland-Chinese Taipei duo thrice to easily take the set.

There was no stopping the Zimbabwe-India tandem as they stormed twelve straight games and handed the French Open champions a "bagel" to finish the second set and claim their most precious title together in just 59 minutes.
"We started off with a bang and now we're ending with a bang," Black said. "We've had such an amazing year and had so much fun and built a great friendship, which is so special too. It's sad that this is our last tournament, but it's great to have these moments to share."
Both pairs will be parting ways after this tournament, Peng already has a partner in Andrea Hlavackova in which they recently won their first tournament together at the China Open in Beijing last month against the same Zimbabwe-India pair while Hsieh will be joining Mirza starting next year.
Black, 35, after a 13-month partnership with 27-year-old Mirza, had announced that she will be taking 2015 off in order to spend more time with her two-year-old son and her family.
"Sania is in the prime of her career at the moment, and I said to her at the US Open that I'm not sure what I'm going to do next year and how much I'm going to play," Black said. "Also travelling with a baby is not easy. I just want to wind down a little bit and see where the next step takes me."
