(Photo : pictures.reuters.com) Chinese personal computer and smartphone maker Lenovo Group Ltd aims to sell 100 million smartphones and tablets this year.

Lenovo revealed its first fitness wristband named Lenovo Smartband SW-B100.

The new fitness tracker was quietly unveiled in the product page of the computer maker's website.

Smartband SW-B100 targets "young people" that take care of their personal health and who are interested in new tech trend products, according to Lenovo.

SW-B100 will be available in two colors-- blue and orange -- and it's compatible with iOS, Windows phone and Android devices, Mashable reported.

Users can track daily steps, distance traveled, heart rate, sleep patterns, and calories burned with the new Smartbrand.

Moreover, Lenovo's fitness tracker also comes with special features such as call and text message alerts and the ability to auto-lock or unlock a PC without "manually entering passwords".

The Chinese company, however, has not released any official statement regarding price and availability of the wearable device.

Some sources said Lenovo will want to start shipping before the holiday season. The Chinese tech giant did not comment on the issue.

Earlier this month, Lenovo Smartband SW-B100 documents along its user manual were first uncovered in a Federal Communications Commission filing.

The device was to have made its debut at the 2014 IFA consumer electronics conference in Berlin last September, but it wasn't introduced.
