Comedian LeVar Burton brought back story time in a whole new way this week.
He read Adam Mansbach's book "Go the F**k to Sleep" as part of a charity drive and his audience was a group of adults seated on a red reading carpet while he told them to go to bed.
One woman in the audience joked by saying "I feel like need to go to sleep now".

The book was inspired by a night where Adam Mansbach had trouble putting his daughter to sleep, leading him to post a status on Facebook "Look out for my forthcoming children's book entitled ' Go the F**k to sleep", the status which was first posted as a joke garnered such a great response from his Facebook followers that Adam got straight to work and ended with a exquisitely profane bedtime story that somehow struck a nerve with both parents and non-parents alike.
In an exchange of tweets today, Mansbach congratulated LeVar on the reading in which LeVar replied by saying that he will be sending fellow author a copy of his own book entitled 'The Rhino Who Swallowed a Storm". Mansbach graciously replied to the offer by saying that he will be sending LeVar a copy of his new book.
The act was part of 'Rooster Teeth's Extra Life' charity campaign, a video has been put on youtube of LeVar reading the book and has been viewed nearly 250,000 times since its posting on Saturday.
The charity campaign that goes towards medical research and so far the charity has already made a whopping US$442,389.
