CBC startled everyone by announcing that he have let go of Pop Culture radio host, Jian Ghomeshi.
Now, Ghomeshi is refusing to take his dismissal lying down, he revealed on Sunday that he plans to sure CBC for $50 million because, he says, he was fired due to his penchant for rough sex. In a post posted on his Facebook page, Ghomeshi said "Let me say that my tastes in bedroom activities may not be everyones cup of tea. They may be strange, weird, enticing, normal or outright offensive to others, but that is my private life."

The CBC's announcement came with very few details "The CBC is saddened to announce that its relationship with Jian Ghomeshi has come to an end. The decision was not made without serious deliberation and careful consideration."
The announcement was followed by a tweet from The Giller Prize, announcing that Ghomeshi will no longer be hosting its November 10th Gala.
Initially, the radio personality took things lightly by tweeting that he was okay and that he just needs some time to himself. But, his lawyers took matters on a higher level when they announced that Ghomeshi was suing the CBC for US$50 million and that he also plans to file grievance under CBC' collective agreement in hopes of getting his job back.
Ghomeshi claims that the mess was caused by a jilted ex-girlfriend who decided to publicize their bedroom activities, but he claims that his 20-something ex agreed to having rough sex, which sometimes included role play, dominance and submission and that the sex was all consensual.
So far the Toronto Police has confirmed that no charges have been filed against Ghomeshi.
