After Li Yapeng's Yanran Fund was in question on embezzling donations, Jet Li's One Foundation is now in hot water as questions also arise on how donations are being handled.
A Weibo celebrity user, Siyue Net, questioned Jet Li's handling of the 300 million yuan donation intended for the victims of Ya'an earthquake.

"Where have our donations gone? As of 8:02 p.m. on April 20, 2014, total 219 foundations raised funds for Ya'an earthquake, receiving 1.696 billion Yuan public donations. Currently, the expense reached 645 million Yuan covering 38 percent of the total income. One Foundation received nearly 400 million Yuan donation but only paid 40 million Yuan covering only 9 percent," Siyue Net said on Weibo. The user also published a data sheet of the expense of each foundation for Ya'an earthquake.
Jet Li has not issued an official statement on the matter yet but he wrote on his Weibo account that his foundation, the One Foundation, experienced several query along the way.
"But anyway, we will still insist on doing one good thing every day. This is our dream," he wrote.
One Foundation's general secretary responded to the questions via Weibo, saying "The total expense of One Foundation in 2013 is 127.58 million including the 45.32 million yuan of Ya'an's emergency rescue and transition resettlement."
The secretary thanked netizens' for reminding them to spend donations fast and said that the projects of One Foundation were being initiated with partner organizations, companies, and volunteers to benefit the victims.
One Foundation, the secretary said, does not simply pay for the local government or only give relief materials.
The secretary also emphasized they will use the budget of 194.86 million yuan this year responsibly and with heart and patience.
