Chinese netizens are demanding that the reporter of Phoenix TV apologize to the parents and family of a peeing child, whose video was posted online by the reporter, the Southeast Morning Post reported.
A video posted online showed the kid peeing on a street in Hong Kong but the child was being covered by her parents as passersby started shooting the scene of a peeing child. The attention cause the child to cry hard as passersby criticized the parents for allowing the little girl to pee on the street.

The mother, however, explained that the child needed to pee because she was almost wetting her pants.
"What can I do?" the mother was quoted as saying.
Lv Qiu Luwei, a reporter of Phoenix TV, posted the video online and wrote on Weibo that "This video was only the latter half part of the incident. The kid peed on the street. The camera and memory card of the passersby who took pictures were seized by the father. The mother slapped a passerby, creating chaos."
The Weibo post immediately earned a quick rebuke from netizens who posted over 65,000 comments.
Netizens believed and pointed out that Lv Qiu concealed the fact and ignored the details that the parents initiatively brought the kid to restroom and that the mother caught the pee with diapers while the kid was peeing.
However, Lv Qiu did not mention how the Hong Kong people scolded the parents and took pictures of the little girl's private parts. Netizens also said Lv Qiu misled the public and showed utter lack of compassion for the little child.
Yuan Guoming, the Principal of Hong Kong Caritas Tuen Mun Marden Foundation Secondary School, said the parents were wrong to let the kid pee in public. But Yuan believed the parents would not have done so if there was a restroom nearby.
Yuan suggested that Hong Kong establish more related facilities to meet the demands of tourists, including those from mainland China.
