Mariah Carey Returns to Manila for Concert

Pop diva Mariah Carey, who arrived in Manila October 26, is all-ready for her concert October 28.
The multi-Grammy-winning singer-actress was elated to have received an "incredible welcome" from fans.
Carey, considered as one of the best-selling female acts of all time, was welcomed by screaming fans at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

She posted a short video on Instagram her Instagram, where crowd of well-wishers were seen welcoming here.
"Just arrived in Manila at 3 a.m.," was the caption.
Fans were seen holding signs and chanting the singer's name. There were even those who ran toward while a staff was shooting the video.
The American singer's The Elusive Chanteuse Show is slated at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The singer then posted: "Thank you #Manila #lambily for the incredible welcome. I love you much!!! Can't wait to see you at the show!! #TheElusiveChanteuseShow."
The actress referred to her group of fans as Lambily.
The last time the actress visited the Philippines was in 2003, when she staged her Charmbracelet Tour.
Carey, famed for her whistle register, became a global phenomenon in 1990 with the launch of her self-titled debut album Mariah Carey, which has gone platinum and spawned four consecutive number one singles. Her early success was solidified after the release of Emotions (1991), Music Box (1993), and Merry Christmas (1994).
With over 200 million records sold worldwide, the World Music Awards honored her as the best-selling recording artist of the 1990s, not to mention that she was also hailed as the best-selling female artist of the millennium in 2000. The release of Touch My Body (2008), gave her the 18th number-one single in her career, making her the only solo artist to do so.
Carey released her new album Me. I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse May this year.
