There's a big chance that Mama June can lose her kids, says various reports.

It's no secret that Mama June of recently cancelled series "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo", is dating a once convicted child molester. After the news came out, TLC decided to stop the TV show.

The cancellation appeared to be the worst that could happen to the "Honey Boo Boo" family, but now it seems that the worst is yet to happen.

According to various reports, the cancellation of the show may be the least of Mama June's worries since she might well be losing her kids for good.

June "Mama June" Shannon, 35, could reportedly lose 9-year-old Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and Alana's sisters, 14-year-old Lauryn "Pumpkin", 14 and 17-year-old Jessica "Chubbs," Philly.com reports.

The Georgia Division of Family and Child Services is now looking into the possible effect to the girls of Mama June's relationship with 53-year-old Mark McDaniel, Radar Online reports.

"Social workers will be making formal contact with all of June's children, and any other minors that might have come into contact with Mark McDaniel," a source told Radar. "This is being taken very, very seriously by the department."

McDaniel went to jail a decade ago after he molested an 8-year-old girl.

This week, Mama June's oldest daughter, 20-year-old Anna, who is now married, revealed to Radar Online that she was the victim of McDaniel at the time.

The case went to court after the allegations. However, it was was dismissed. McDaniel was later convicted on a different child molestation charge, hence serving ten years in prison.

When news of McDaniel's relationship with Shannon came out, TLC wasted no time to cancel the show .

On her part, Shannon denied any romantic ties with McDaniel, the convicted child molester. However, on Oct. 24, TMZ released photos of her in bed with the sex offender, as well as both allegedly house-hunting together.

Meanwhile, many fans of the TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" reportedly believed the allegations of the relationship of the family's matriarch with McDaniel.

At first, Anna sided with her mother and did not believe reports, but she soon came to the realization that they were true. She said that her relationship with her mother is now over, according to the Examiner.

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" made it to four seasons. It mainly revolved around the family's youngest daughter Alana Thompson, who shot to fame appearing in another TLC reality show, "Toddlers and Tiaras."
