Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson is extremely upset that his former domestic partner, June Shannon is exposing his daughter, Alana a.k.a. "Honey Boo Boo" to a convicted child molester.

Mama June is said to be dating Mark McDaniel, a man convicted of aggravated child molestation in 2004. He served 10 years in a Georgia state prison.

According to a source, Thompson is extremely distraught about the situation, sharing, "He is torn apart by this. He is very concerned for Alana and the girls and he has no idea what the hell June is thinking right now."

Thompson is said to be thinking about which course of action to take regarding his child, but is said to be considering take full custody of her.

When Thompson and Shannon split this year, Shannon had said that it was due to his presence in online dating websites. However, the two's family said that Thompson was not at fault for the split. Rather, they believe that Shannon had instigated the break-up because she was already seeing McDaniel, who was release from prison earlier this year.

Shannon had a relationship with McDaniel 10 years ago and, her feelings for him allegedly always hovered over her partnership with Thompson.

The reality star was said to have refused to throw away her photos with McDaniel despite the fact that Thompson resented having them in their home.

Recently, Shannon older daughter publicly revealed that McDaniel had molested her when she was a child, but that her mother did not believe her when she told her about it. Instead, Shannon blamed her for the incident.

Following the revelation that Shannon is once again dating McDaniel, TLC cancelled the family's reality show.

Shannon continues to deny that she has an ongoing relationship with McDaniel, despite recent photographs on herself, Alana and McDaniel surfaced.
