If you recall, last week when the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 Original Motion Picture soundtrack track list was revealed, it had a gaping hole entitled "Various Artists-Track 5". Lorde, took to Twitter to enlighten fans about the missing untitled track by tweeting "The unnamed track isn't the way it is because of secrecy's sake, it's just not quite finished."
But now that Grande has officially confirmed that she recorded a song with Lorder and Diplo it is safe to say that the pop star has joined the ranks of Kanye West, HAIM, Charlie XCX, Tove Lo and a few other singers who are appearing on the soundtrack for the highly anticipated third film of the Hunger Games Franchise.
The 21-year old also promised that she will be releasing a Christmas single this holiday season, but she did not reveal the title, so we are not sure if this will be a cover of a Christmas classic or if she had recorded a whole new Christmas carol. Although Ariana gave a vague clue about the song by saying "It's sort of about being fed up with Santa because he doesn't pull through all the time."
Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is set for release in November 2014, tickets are set to go on sale this week, in the US.
