(Photo : Benoit Tessier) France's former president Nicolas Sarkozy (R), recording artists Beyonce (L) and her husband Jay-Z (C), arrive to attend the Champions League Group F soccer match opposing Paris St Germain and Barcelona at the Parc des Princes Stadium in Paris, September 30, 2014.
The hit Broadway musical show back in 1977 called Annie is going to have a remake but this time it will be on the silver screen. Jay-Z and Will Smith are the producers of this upcoming musical film.
Quvenzhane Wallis will play the role of Annie and the viewers will surely love her because the child has a talent recognized by the Academy as she was recently nominated for her work in Beasts of Southern Wild. Annie is set to hit theaters on December 19, 2014.

For those who don't know the story of Annie, she is this orphan under the supervision of Miss Hannigan (played by Cameron Diaz). She is living a hard knock life in the orphanage and was hoping for someone to adopt her.
Until one day, William Stacks (played by Jamie Foxx) came because his people suggested that he takes Annie, as that would look good for his image since he is hoping to be New York's next Mayor.
But aside from the fact that Annie will be a lot of help in his campaign, he came to believe that he is meant to adopt her anyway.
The role of Annie was actually first offered to Will Smith's daughter Willow Smith. But she didn't take the job because she said that she went with her intuition.
The movie was announced back in 2011 and her name was mentioned to play the part but then later on decided not to do it since she thought it is not something she should be a part of.
Annie is going to be showing on December 19, 2014 under Columbia Pictures.
