(Photo : Reuters ) With a new circuit developed by researchers, smartphones and other devices will be two times faster.
Smartphones nowadays are already equipped with built-in tracking systems that allow users and phone owners to remotely lock or wipe their phones if they've misplaced their gadgets or if they've stolen.
According to the National Cyber Security Division, a part of the Department of Homeland Security in the United States, a feature of Samsung's smartphones called "Find My Mobile" might have a flaw in its system that allows hackers to easily execute denial-of-service attacks against users of the phone.

The National Cyber Security Division claims Find My Mobile can be turned on by hackers without the knowledge of the phone owner. Hackers are able to remotely lock the device then change the unlock code making it useless for the owners.
So much for Samsung's plan to let their users feel secure about their Samsung smartphones.
It isn't clear, however, how hackers gain access to someone else's phone but programmer Mohamed Baset uploaded a video on YouTube showing how the system can easily be exploited. Baset called out Samsung to look into this vulnerability.
Also, it was found the lock-code date on the smartphones makes Samsung users more prone to the attacks.
A Samsung spokesman said the company's already looking into the situation.
"Samsung takes the security of our products very seriously."
