According to Taiwanese media reports, the 28-year old Mandopop singer has been spotted going to clubs and returning home late earlier this month. Additionally, he has allegedly engaged into a scandalous conversation with a woman he just met from a known club.
Based on the screenshots of the messages he exchanged with said woman through a chat application, Neely initiated the conversation, saying, "I just woke up and I dreamt of you. I want to see you."
The singer is said to have refrained from speaking to the unidentified female, however, reports say that she has already grown attached to him.
The woman's boyfriend eventually discovered the messages and later wrote a post on Neely's Facebook page, saying, "How are you different from Giddens Ko?" referring to the director who has admitted to cheating on his girlfriend of nine years just the previous week.
Neely, who is currently in the United States to attend a family affair, is said to have apologized to said woman for causing her trouble, even calling himself a 'rotten man'.
Neely has admitted to sending the messages through a phone interview with a Taiwanese media outlet. However, the singer denied that he used those messages in order to get close to the woman.
Furthermore, he explained that he was merely being friendly, but it became an impediment instead. The singer stated that his wife, Vivi, has also seen the messages, but hoped that the public will not disrupt their marriage further.
