Following Chris Wang's announcement that he will soon become a father, his fans showed their support by sending well-wishes to him and his girlfriend and manager, Xiao Jian, however, rumors also followed that Xiao is a surrogate mother and is just a cover-up for the Taiwanese actor's sexual orientation.

Last July, speculations rose that Wang is gay and has allegedly been exchanging intimate messages with his purported male partner who is said to be living in Thailand. However, Wang and Xiao, whom he was dating then, refuted the rumors. To further back their claims, the actor's management also confirmed last Sunday, October 26, that the rumors were not true.

Now, rumors have surfaced that Xiao, who is now four months pregnant with Wang, is allegedly a surrogate mother. Some sources have claimed that the actor's manager and girlfriend is not carrying Wang's child.

Further claims say that Wang's announcement that he is to become a father to Xiao's child is just a front to conceal his true sexual orientation. Additionally, his claim that he will be getting married soon is also allegedly a scheme to divert the public's attention from the rumors that he is homosexual.

Neither the 32-year old actor nor his manager has stepped forward to clarify the matter.

On the other hand, a local magazine claimed that Wang, who announced that he is dating his 31-year old manager last November, also allegedly stated that he wished to keep her pregnancy a secret until their child is three months old. Wang says that he wanted to concentrate on his work first as he is currently working on new projects entitled 'Aim High' and 'Endless Nights in Aurora'.

Last Sunday, Wang posted his girlfriend's ultrasound photo on his Facebook page, captioning it, "I am calm, blessed, peaceful and free now."

The actor's child with Xiao is also believed to be making an appearance on April this coming year.
