Hewlett-Packard (HP) unveiled two new products, a cheap 3D printer and an interactive desktop computer, as part of the HP Blended Reality ecosystem.

The Multi Jet Fusion, HP's new industrial 3D printer, is 10 times faster and 50 percent less expensive than other 3D printers on the market.

Multi Jet Fusion is designed to "transform manufacturing across industries," said Stephen Nigro, HP's Inkjet and Web Solutions Business Senior Vice President.

"With Multi Jet Fusion quality, you'll get hi-resolution details and robust mechanical qualities," Nigro added.

The Multi Jet Fusion printer will be marketed to 3D printing services companies, manufacturers and enterprises early next year and is expected to be available in 2016. But the company won't disclose prices, reports said.

On Wednesday, HP also launched a brand new immersive dual-screen computing platform called Sprout.

HP Sprout uses Intel's Real Sense technology. It includes an overhead assembly that combines a projector and a 3D scanner.

Sprout is built around HP's TouchSmart all-in-one and features an Intel Core i7-4790S processor, 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hybrid drive.

Additionally, the 23-inch HD touchscreen display also has two USB 3.0 ports, an SD card slot, projector, and a four-camera sensory system that can capture 2D and 3D objects and a scanner.

"We wanted to capture the magic of the personal touch and make it super easy," said Eric Monsef, Vice President of HP's immersive systems.

The all-in-one desktop computer is available for US$1,899 and will go on sale Nov. 9 in 50 retail stores, including Best Buy and Microsoft stores.
