Hong Kong Canadian singer, actor and fashion designer Edison Chen said he did not contact ex-girlfriend Cecilia Cheung for a long time.

According to Taiwan media, Chen attended an opening ceremony of a new fashion store in Taiwan. Chen attracted a lot of attentions from passengers and visitors to take photos with him.

As a fashion designer, Chen should be very happy to attend the event as the brand's guest. However, when media mentioned the name of "Cecilia Cheung" in interview, Chen did not look well immediately. It became very awkward in the interview.

Media asked him if he gave blessing to Nicholas Tse and Faye Wong. He did not look unhappy, but he responded after a 3-second pause, "I really do not read entertainment news. (I) now read some English news."

Chen later was asked in another electronic media interview that if he still contacted with Cheung. "Who is Cecilia Cheung?" He sent a question back to the media. Everyone there was shocked. He gave media a lesson saying "as reporters, do homework first".

Chen said at the end of the interview that he did not contact with "her" (Cecilia Cheung) for a very long time. He was asked if he introduced Cheung her new rumored boyfriend. He looked unhappy again and said that media always bothered him with the old years-long news.

"It was many years ago. I don't know why you ask me to answer this question." Chen told the reporters to do homework again.
