'Mad Men' star Jessica Pare announced that she is pregnant with her first child with her rocker boyfriend John Kastner.

Pare, best known for playing the role of Megan Draper in the drama series 'Man Men', told a media outlet last Tuesday, October 28, that she is pregnant with her first child and is expecting the baby to make an appearance in 2015.

While it is the first time the Canadian actress will become a mother, her boyfriend, Kastner, has a 7-year old daughter from a former marriage.

As opposed to her role as Megan Draper in 'Mad Men', the 33-year old actress appeared to be very excited about her pregnancy. In the sixth season of the drama, Pare's character has suffered from a miscarriage and later confessed that she is relieved that she didn't have to go through the decision regarding her pregnancy.

In the drama, Pare's character is a career-obsessed woman who first worked with her husband as an advertiser and later pursued acting. The character she portrayed also appeared to be a glamorous woman who doesn't care much about kids. Despite that, Megan made a note-worthy rise on 'Mad Men'.

Pare was first introduced in the fourth season as a receptionist for Don Draper's ad agency, but quickly made progress by becoming his secretary. Later, she became the wife of Jon Hamm's character in the series.

According to media reports, Pare's most prominent scene in the drama was in the fifth season when her character threw a birthday party for her husband and performed a song number, singing to 'Zou Bisou Bisou' in front of her husband's colleagues.

Megan Draper sure is far from motherhood, however, the actress that portrays her is blooming and happy as she announced the good news.

Outside of 'Mad Men', Pare also appeared in the comedy 'Hot Tub Time Machine 2'.
