Hong Kong singer and songwriter Gem Tang, otherwise known as G.E.M., is scheduled to perform in Singapore in Jan 31, 2015 as announced by her concert organizers last Wednesday.
Reports said the young singer-songwriter is going to perform in Singapore next year on January 31 as a part of her concert tour entitled G.E.M. X.X.X Live World Tour, which marks her second solo concert tour.

Based on the 23-year old singer's camp, 'X.X.X.' in the title of her second solo concert means 'more to eXpose, more to eXpect and more eXciting', just some of the things that they aim to show during her shows which follows her concert tour last year that went with the same title.
Tang's concert will be held at The MAX Pavilion at the Singapore Expo.
The concert tour will also be promoting environment-friendly measures. In hopes to reduce plastic waste, fans and supporters who will attend Tang's concert will be able to download a mobile phone application which was tailor-made for the event. The application will allow the audience's phones to transform into a 'glow stick' that changes colors, replacing the usual plastic light stick that are distributed to concert attendees in the past.
The tickets to the G.E.M. X.X.X. Live Concert Tour in Singapore is said to cost S$128 to S$248. Ticket sales have also began at Sistic branches today, October 30.
On the other hand, Tang, who is one of the youngest recording artists in Hong Kong, is said to have broken a venue record when she kick-started the tour in Hong Kong just last April. Tang is also considered as one of the youngest artists to have ever performed a total of 10 shows at the Hong Kong Coliseum.
Earlier this year, the singer has been embroiled in a scandal which involved racy photos which were leaked online. However, it has been proven that the lady in the photo is not Tang and was another woman who had a strong resemblance to her.
