Sources confirm that actor Seth Rogen will be playing Apple co-found Steve Wozniak opposite Christian Bale in Sony's Steve Jobs biopic.

Variety also announced that actress Jessica Chastain is being eyed for an unspecified role. Although, people assume that she is being eyed to play one of the women in Job's world since there were no women involved in the founding of Apple.

The movie will be based on the biography "Steve Jobs" written by Walter Isaacson, the screenplay is written by Aaron Sorkin and it will be directed by Oscar winner Dany Boyle.

Sorkin also confirmed that they plan on dividing the film into three long scenes-- each scene will depict the backstage chaos that happens before Apple launches their products. Sony acquired the rights for the film after Steve Jobs' passing in 2011.

Wozniak, co-founded the company with Jobs and Ronald Wayne, the trio was credited for the release of Apple I and Apple II in the late 1970's and in 1987 Wozniak left the company as a full time employee.

This is not the first time a movie about Apple and its founders will be made, Ashton Kutcher starred in "Jobs" which depicted the life and legacy of Steve Jobs -- Kutchers film covered the area from 1974 to the first iPod launch in 2001.

Unfortunately the film did not fair well in the global box office, making only $36 million worldwide.

No release date was announced for this new "Steve Jobs" film starring Seth Rogen and  Christian Bale.
