Hong Kong actor Wong Cho Lam, who is the series creator of 'Come On, Cousin', claimed that he will not be writing a third installment for the comedy drama, saying that he wants to venture to other topics, too.
Last October 30, Thursday, the cast and production crew of 'Come On, Cousin', gathered at In Yau Tong in order to promote the series. As it is considered as the sister production of the 2013 series 'Inbound Troubles', the original cat member, which include Wong Cho Lam, Joey Meng, Roger Kwok, May Chan and Louis Cheung, have all returned.

With the success of the drama series, Wong was asked whether he has any plans to write a third installment for it. The actor then stated that he had no plans of writing a third part of 'Come On, Cousin'.
"Enough is enough," says Wong. "I want to find a new topic to talk about."
Other than clarifying that he had no plans of continuing to write after the series ends, Wong also talked about that certain episode in 'Come On, Cousin' where the theme song of the ATV drama 'My Date with a Vampire' was played. The actor was also asked whether TVB had been against the use of the background music in series.
Wong responded to that, saying, "Joey Meng used to be an ATV actress," indirectly implying that there wasn't any problem with it despite the claim that they were promoting an ATV show in a TVB series.
During the event, Wong also cleared the rumor that he and Kwok aren't getting along on set. He refuted the claims, saying that the 'Black Heart, White Soul' actor had been very supportive, adding that they have even discussed about collaborating again after 'Come On, Cousin'.
Kwok also denied the rumors, saying that he and Wong are very close. "If we weren't, these rumors would have definitely made us more awkward," the actor said. Furthermore, he praised Wong for his creativity and confirmed that they have talked about a joint project in the future.
