Rumor has it that Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin and her on-screen love interest in 'The Way We Were', actor Weber Yang, are dating in real life after they were allegedly spotted on a date.

Lin and Yang, who made a popular pairing in the romantic drama 'The Way We Were', are said to have taken their on-screen romance over to real life. Rumors that the actor and actress are dating in real life have been circulating as of late, and despite denying the rumors in the past, the two were aid to have been photographed together while they were out on a date.

According to Taiwanese media outlets, the photos of the rumored couple evidently show that they are dating. In the photos, Lin and Yang were aid to have been happily chatting while having their afternoon tea.

The 38-year old actress is said to have been dressed in an all-black ensemble along with a cap as if she was purposefully trying to evade attention. Furthermore, Yang allegedly paid the bill for their meal and later drove Lin home.

However, Yang's manager has come forward to respond to the rumors, saying that the actor and Lin are just friends and that they just happened to meet. On the other hand, Lin's manager refused to respond to said claims.

It isn't the first time that the two stars would be linked romantically, but according to media outlets, it is the first time that they have shown signs of dating. Previously, it has been reported that Lin and Yang attended a barbecue party with a group of friends during the mid-autumn festival.

During that time, Yang is said to have placed his hand on Lin's waist, an incident which started debate among media outlets about their alleged romance. Both stars have also shot down the rumors, with Yang claiming that he was merely being a gentleman to a tipsy Lin at the gathering.

Lin has also asserted that if she was together with Yang, he wouldn't let herself be photographed with him like that.

Despite their denials, their supporters are aid to be looking forward to progress regarding their relationship.
