After a 30-day involuntary hold at a mental facility, Amanda Bynes' hearing officer felt that the actress was stable enough not to be held involuntarily. After the said decision was made, Bynes walked out of the facility and roamed Sunset Strip on Thursday night.
However, this does not mean that the actress is cured of her mental breakdown. While on meds, the actress sounded lucid as she asked her hearing officer that she be released from the facility. Doctors still feel though that she is suffering from serious mental illness.

Bynes, searching for a place to stay, went to a diner and ordered tons of food and scarfed them down. The troubled star ordered fried chicken, salmon, Caesar salad with guacamole, and a house salad with Italian and ranch.
Witnesses say that she was talking to a waiter about being shy because she had a facial procedure done and that she had to wear a bandage.
Bynes was alone while eating and, was seen talking to herself.
The actress was also said to have been looking for a hotel room where she could rest and sleep, but that several establishments turned her down.
Parents of the star, who were granted conservatorship over her affairs, claimed that she was spending large amounts of money on extravagant gifts and randomly handed them out to strangers.
It was previously reported that the length of treatment is yet to be determined, so it is odd that after doctors stated that the star is very ill, her hearing officer would release her from involuntary hold, considering it seems that the star is not yet mentally capable to be out of the facility.
After a very public breakdown in the past which culminated in her setting fire to a stranger's driveway and, consequently being put on involuntary psychiatric hold, the former Nickelodeon child star was believed to have gotten a whole lot better.
However, everything seemed to fall apart for the young star again after she got arrested for DUI in September.
