While Lebron James takes the blame for the new-and-improved Cleveland Cavaliers' loss to the New York Knicks, 95-90, Kyrie Irving also shoulders some of the blame, citing miscommunication with coach David Blatt in executing the plays.
The two fell short of the expectations their new superstar team has brought. With the acquisition of their big three with James and Love, as well as other support players, people were expecting the team to keep on winning.

However, the unexpected happened. They lost.
James, as the visible leader of the team, shouldered some of the burden. There was reason though as he shot only 5 of 15 with eight turnovers throughout the game. He called his mistakes careless.
Irving led his team in both points and assists, with 22 and 7 respectively. However, he pointed out his four turnovers as proof that he still needs to work with his coach Blatt in play execution.
"For us, it's just a better communication between me and Coach Blatt," Irving said. "That's basically what it boils down to. I'm his point guard out there, and some things that I see, you know, he has plays in his mind and I have plays in my mind as well."
He was hopeful though in stating that their team was going to keep growing and that it is really a process that they are ready to go through. Hopefully, they can get on the same page pretty soon.
The Cavaliers' offense was glowing throughout the pre-season with five wins out of their seven games.
But that started to falter in the second and third quarters, as the Knicks underscored Cleveland, 49-39, and shot just 12 for 33 from the field.
The Cavaliers also struggled with their bench production, with the Knicks reserves outscoring their opponents 41-12.
While many people are going to see this loss and roll their eyes, Dion Walters said that it is just one game, and that the Cavaliers have 81 more games to go.
