Heidi Klum might as well be called the "Queen of Halloween," because not only is she one of the world's most famous supermodels, she also gives it her all when it comes to dressing up for Halloween.

Klum never falters. Every single year, her costume is a spectacle to behold.

The trend has been going on for almost a decade now. The Project Runway host takes it to the next level each Halloween. One wouldn't even notice there's a German supermodel inside her costumes.

Heidi manages each time to cast vanity aside and get down to business in a succession of bizarre yet remarkable costumes.

Known for being ever so over-the-top, Klum's costumes reporteldy take months of planning and putting together. She has also worked with Hollywood designers to assemble her costume to become the perfect amount of eerie and astounding, according to Mashable.

"Go big, or stay home," said Klum, giving advice to Halloween costume hopefuls. "You really have to go for it," Klum told Mashable.

Each Halloween, Klum is more about getting into one creatively terrifying character after another, as opposed to her glamorous runway persona. Heidi is all about taking risks, even if it meant dressing up as an older woman, including wrinkles and gray hair.

Other costumes of the 41-year-old that have bemused the red carpet include a glimmering robot, a serpent within an apple (together with then husband Seal), and a skinless body.

In 2011, she even hired designers who worked for the "Planet of the Apes" franchise to help her put together her skinless body costume.

"Everything I've done for Halloween doesn't just come from a store," she said. "I don't just pick it up; it's all built."

As for tonight's get-up, Klum only has this to say "What I'm doing on Friday is quite... complicated."
