Online retailer Amazon will be offering Black Friday deals earlier than ever, beginning Nov. 1, and will reportedly last until Dec. 22.
Major retailers including Wal-Mart and Best Buy will be opening their doors for Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving - a day earlier than usual. However, it appears Amazon plans to gain an advantage over its competition and lure in more potential costumers by offering deals a whole month before.

Starting Nov. 1, Amazon will be announcing two "Deals of the Day" every single day leading up to Dec. 22. They'll also reportedly offer thousands of "Lightning Deals."
Great so-called "doorbuster" prices on certain electronics including TV's and gaming consoles that Wal-Mart and Best Buy like to advertise, will likely be implemented as part of Amazon's "Deals of the Day", while the "Lightning Deals" will simply be a variety of discounted products.
Last year, there were reports about customers making last-minute purchases, which didn't arrive on time for Christmas due to weather problems, according to GeekWire. The extra month this year gives consumers plenty of time to purchase and receive their holiday gifts.
Some of the better doorbuster electronic deals last year included Wal-Mart's 32" LED 720p HDTV for only $98, Wal-Mart's $299 iPad Mini that came with a $100 gift card, or Best Buy's 55" LED 1080p HDTV for just $499.99.
It's certainly going to be interesting to see whether Amazon will be able to compete with these prices during their month-early Black Friday special.
Other major retail stores including Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Target will officially be opening their doors for 2014 blockbuster deals yet to be announced beginning 6:00 p.m. local time on Thanksgiving.
