It is said that Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu will not renew her contract with TVB after the current contract ends due to her dissatisfaction with being shelved.
Myolie has not been paid attention to by her company TVB. She did not attend TVB's anniversary lighting ceremony and also did not present in anniversary drama. Even though she filmed four dramas before, but only two of them, Lady Sour and Walking with You, will be released in December, which is after TVB's November anniversary awards ceremony. That means she will not have the chance to win the "Best Actress" this year.

The last released drama presented by Myolie, Triumph in the Skies II, was released in July last year.
It is said that as a TV Queen, Myolie is dissatisfied with TVB's arrangement and also her being shelved which decided her not to renew the contract with TVB.
Myolie has been working at TVB for almost 16 years. Her roles in dramas were limited in recent years. It is informed that Myolie did not want to waste time and would like to see the world after she saw many actors and actresses, including Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Lam are working well in China mainland.
However, Myolie said she is still uncertain about her decision and is still considering the terms carefully to weigh her career opportunities.
"I haven't renewed the contract yet. It hasn't expired yet, and we're still in discussion. I'm not young anymore; I need to think it over. I've been working for many years now and it's time to think about where I should head next. I've already been in the industry for 16 years," said Myolie at an event in Hong Kong, days ago.
"I just don't want to put too much pressure on myself because there's more to life than just working. Other [companies] talked to me, but money is not the most important thing," Myolie said.
She was asked whether she is eager to look for a boyfriend. "It is really very important," Muyolie laughed and said. "I hope I can allocate time well," she added.
