Moto Droid Turbo vs. Google Nexus 6: Comparison of Specs, Features and Prices

Moto Droid Turbo and Google Nexus 6 are both made by Motorola but Nexus 6 is more of a Google device when it comes to branding.
On the other hand, Moto Droid Turbo, is always associated with Verizon. Both smartphones are the newest Android flagships.
Pre-orders for Nexus 6 has started while the Droid Turbo is now up for purchase at Big Red's website.

Hardware, software, and storage
Moto Droid Turbo: Powered by quad-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 2.6 GHz and armed with a Snapdragon 805 processor. The device runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It offers 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB of internal storage.
Nexus 6: Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Quad-Core, clocked at 2.7 GHz and runs under Android 5.0 Lollipop. It offers 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage.
Design, display and size
Moto Droid Turbo: It features a 5.2-inch QHD display made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that makes it scratch-and-scuff proof. It has a 1440 x 2560 screen resolution with 565 ppi pixel density. It's made of Kevlar, a smooth bullet-proof material used to make helmets and armored vests.
Nexus 6: The handset sports a 5.9-inch IPS LCD display with 2560 x 1440 screen resolution. Its dimension is 6.27 by 3.27 by 0.4 inches and 6.49 oz heavy.
It's a scaled-up version of the 2014 Moto X. It has an aluminum curved back frame and the trademark Motorola dimple on the back
Camera
Moto Droid Turbo: It has a 21 megapixel primary camera with dual-LED flash. The front camera remains unknown.
Nexus 6: It offers a 13 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front-facing camera.
Battery
Moto Droid Turbo: It features a gargantuan, 3,900mAh battery difficult to drain.
Nexus 6: It has a 3,220 mAh battery that can be charged wirelessly.
Price
Moto Droid Turbo: It costs $199 on a two-year Verizon agreement, while consumers can get the unlocked version for $599.
Nexus 6: Under a two-year contract from Verizon, it sells at $199. For the unlocked 32GB version, it starts at $649.
Additional features
Both handsets are NFC capable.
Nexus 6 is water-resistant.
Moto Droid Turbo has Motorola's Turbo Charge feature (eight hours of battery life from a 15 minute charge).
The Droid Turbo includes Droid Zap, an app that makes image sharing easy. It only requires the sender to slide two fingers on his or her display while the receiver performs a downward two-finger swipe.
Moto Actions, Moto Voice, Moto Assist, and Migrate are also included.
