An investigation has been launched to look into the sexual violence allegations made against Jian Ghomeshi.

Only two of the nine women have spoken to the media, but actress Lucy DeCoutere was the only one who agreed to have her name released. The other woman who had worked for the CBC wanted to remain anonymous, but she revealed that will be meeting with detectives to talk to them about what happened to her.

In a staff memo sent out on October 23, 2014 by CBC's executive vice president Heather Conway, the company confirmed that they have viewed graphic video evidence against Ghomeshi, according to a source, the videos show Ghomeshi asking a woman to do something and she does it for him, in the another video Ghomeshi is seen trying to show a woman how "Bruising can happen even if things are consensual."

The controversy started back in April, when a twitter account with the handle "BigEarsTeddy" tweeted "Hi there @jianghomeshi, remember louring (sic) me into your home under false pretenses? Bruises do not lie. Signed, every female Carlton U Media grad."

The 42-year old former host, who is said to be obsessed about his online presence, noticed the tweet the moment it was sent out and panicked because he was afraid that his alleged conduct would be exposed. He has now hired crisis firm Navigator to help him clear his name of all the allegations in hopes of getting his job back. But the CBC is said to have made a firm and final decision - Ghomeshi's show will continue on but will have a different host.

Ghomeshi has previously tried to convince the CBC that his alleged activities had all been consensual.
