Williams, who had arrived in an Inglewood, California court for a different assault case, was arrested for the mentioned robbery case while he was waiting to be arraigned. On the other hand, Knight was in Las Vegas when he was booked for driving on a suspended license.
If the two are found guilty of the robbery, they could face very long prison terms. Knight faces up to 30 years to life in state prison because he had already been previously convicted of assault with a deadly weapon. Williams, on the other hand, may face up to seven years in prison if he is found guilty.
The two accused deny any involvement in the robbery.
Gossip website TMZ recently released a video of the events that occurred before the alleged robbery.
Knight is seen in the video making threats at a male paparazzi about taking his photos without asking for permission. He then turns to the one taking the video and calls her a "bitch" while accusing her of taking photos of his son.
Before the video ends, the videographer is heard denying that she took footage of his son, to which Knight replies, "I got a bitch to come beat your motherf***in' ass," just before the tape stops recording.
Knight is the founder and CEO of Black Kapital Records and co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records while Williams is best known for his role as Money Mike in "Friday After Next".
