"They said they would send me an invitation to their wedding, but I never received it," says Chou, who also claimed that despite knowing the date and location of the occasion, he chose not to go. Chou said that he did not wish to be in a gathering with so many people.
Furthermore, the actor cleared the rumors that had been circulating, claiming that he and Chao are not in good terms following their competition for the Best Leading Actor award during the Taiwanese Golden Bell Awards five years ago. Said rumor also claimed that the feud between the two men was only broke due to Gao's mediation.
Chou said, "There were never icy feelings [between him and Chao]." He then went to explain that the actor even invited him to his wedding, but he was not able to show up. He later revealed that he already told Chao that he wouldn't be able to attend his wedding, but added that the wedding gift would surely follow.
When asked whether he has plans to get married, the actor, who seemed to be in a good mood, stated that people get married based on personal perception. He then added that at this point in time, he does not feel the need to get married just yet.
