Players expected the Grand Theft Auto 5 Online 1.18 update to arrive on Oct. 31 with the speculated zombie DLC. GTA V developer Rockstar Games, however, hasn't confirmed the GTA V Online and zombie DLC release dates but according to reports, both are likely to come out soon.

Product Reviews said that the release date of the GTA V zombie DLC has been rumored a lot lately and Rockstar could have ended all the speculations on Oct. 31, which was timely because of the Halloween celebrations continued throughout the weekend.

Players speculate that seven hours is too long for a simple game mod fix or periodic maintenance so Rockstar may already be working on the 1.18 update which could also include the Heists DLC. Gamers were treated to the newest GTA trailer for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, featuring zombies on the 0:28 mark of the clip.

Rockstar has also revealed the upcoming GTA V next-gen exclusive content and DLC for PS4, Xbox One and PC which fueled more rumors that the developer would phase out the development of new DLCs for Ps3 and Xbox 360.

YouTube tipster DomisLive said Rockstar would add more DLCs to current-gen consoles to sell more Shark Cards and retain the game's loyal fans. Dom emphasized the game developer has a much bigger player-base with current-gen versions compare to only about 40 percent returning players to next-gen versions.

Thus, Rockstar couldn't deny DLC releases to PS3 and Xbox One after the GTA V re-mastered edition release because it could affect future business prospects.
