Hong Kong actor Lawrence Ng, who announced that he will most probably be getting a divorce with his wife, Mainland Chinese actress Shi Yang Zi, reportedly stated that he will be coming back to Hong Kong despite having lived permanently in China.
Recently, Ng announced that he and his wife, Shi, will be getting a divorce after they've failed to resolve their differences and after living separately for three years now. Now, he said he will be returning to Hong Kong after the divorce, saying that he wants to get in touch with his old roots again.

Furthermore, Ng, stated that he can't keep up with the lifestyle in China. He said, "I always felt that Hong Kong is my actual home. The longer I've been living in China, the more I dislike it there."
The actor went on with explaining his reasons for not liking to live in China. The 50-year old claimed that besides the difference in culture between Hong Kong and China, he stated that there was a lack of both justice and discipline in the country.
He also cited that when his daughter grows up, she'll have her own opinion of matters and will be able to see the difference between the two states. "Then, we can let her choose where she wants to stay," says Ng.
Despite living in China since 2007 following the birth of his daughter, Ng admits that he has never adjusted to living in the country. He cited that Shi had been victimized by a shopping scam in China and that there was once an incident when a man, who urinated in a public place, threatened to hit him after he glanced over.
Besides disliking the lifestyle in China, the actor also advises against living overseas. Ng, who has stayed in England for his studies, says that his decision to enroll his daughter in an international school in Hong Kong is firm. He later explained that he has experienced being bullied when he was overseas, something that he doesn't want his daughter to experience.
