Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld created quite a stir during his appearance at the Comikazie panel. 

Liefeld says that it was passion from actor Ryan Reynolds that made the Deadpool film possible, the co-creator was quoted saying, "Ryan is Deadpool, he's gone through the same career arc, and he is ridiculously talented. He has a huge passion for Deadpool. Deadpool's not happening, because he's a giant star, they asked him, 'Ryan, what do you want to do?' And he point blank said, 'Deadpool.' That's why its happening. They would have no faith otherwise. That movie is because of his passion. He put together the team."

Although, Liefeld did not discuss how the character "Cable" would fit into the film, he says that he does not know yet but he hints that "Cable" is too badass to sit idle and will either be appearing in the Deadpool movie or in his own solo adventure.

Rob also says that the forthcoming official Deadpool trailer will have a different content than the so-called "Leaked" movie trailer, he said "To whoever leaked that trailer and is now going to jail, Thank you. You are one of the reasons why this film is about to be made."

He also clarified why the movie was not in the lineup that was recently announced by Kevin Feige and actors, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans. "I just want to clarify that the Deadpool movie already has a release that and that it is going to be produced by FOX film. Sorry for the confusion, I also hope FOX stages their own film slate announcement for the Marvel brands that they own. The Fantastic Four movie could use a bump."
