Audrey was born in Brussels and spent most of her younger days in Belgium, the Netherlands and England. She also spent her childhood in Arnhem, a German-occupied territory during the World War II.
The Hollywood actress took ballet lessons with Sonia Gaskell. This was prior to her leaving for London in 1948, where she continued taking classes with Marie Rambert. She also sang in a girl group under the the West End musical theatre productions.
Audrey's stunning face has made one of the most beautiful women in the world.
Hepburn starred in the classic "Breakfast at Tiffany's" but it was her role in "Roman Holiday" that earned her the 1935 Best Actress trophy in the Academy Awards. She also starred in the classic hit "My Fair Lady". The British star rose to stardom and later on became one of Hollywood's legends during the Golden Age of the movie industry.
Aside from bringing home the Academy Awards' trophy, the British actress also bagged an Oscar, a BAFTA and a Golden Globe trophy. The iconic movie star was also given the third spot as the greatest female screen legend in American cinema's history by the American Film Institute. She was also included in the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame.
Audrey Hepburn later on spent most of her time working with UNICEF for social works to help the developing world. The movie star was diagnosed with appendiceal cancer, which caused her death in Switzerland in 1993. Audrey was 63 at that time.
