Lawyers of "Girls" creator and star Lena Dunham have sent a four-page letter threatening a lawsuit to Truth Revolt, a conservative group that disseminated a story that inferred that the actress molested her little sister when they were younger.
In the said letter, Dunham's attorneys threatened to sue the organization for "millions of dollars" because the story that they released about Dunham "is false, fabricated, and has the obvious tendency to subject my client to ridicule, and to injure her in her occupation."

Dunham's reps have ordered the group to withdraw and apologize for the article, stating that some of the statements in the article were falsified and, did not appear on the star's book.
Last week, the group published a commentary wherein they quoted "Not That Kind of Girl", a memoir written by Dunham, wherein the star stated that she "leaned down between" her 1-year old sister's legs when she was 7 years old "and carefully spread open her vagina".
The article insinuated that Dunham, who wrote that she sexually experimented with her younger sister Grace and tried to kiss her, did what sexual predators often do.
After the article was released, Dunham, along with her sister, took to social media to slam and condemn the group and the story they had released.
The "cease and desist" letter was sent to Truth Revolt talk-radio host and writer Ben Shapiro, David Horowitz and their lawyers.
Despite having been threatened with a lawsuit, Shapiro said that they refuse to withdraw or apologize for their story, stating that quoting a book "does not constitute a 'false' story".
"Lena Dunham may not like our interpretation of her book, but unfortunately for her and her attorneys, she wrote that book - and the First Amendment covers a good deal of material she may not like."
Reps for Dunham have not yet commented on the group's recent statement.
