Stand-up comedian and openly-gay actress Lea DeLaria seems to be just as outspoken as Big Boo, a character she portrays in the hit Netflix series "Orange is the New Black".
While riding a subway train in New York City, the actress encounters a homophobic preacher who quoted lines from the Bible which referred to homosexuality as a sin and an abomination.

As the man ranted, the comedian spoke firmly, saying that homosexuality is not the reason why the United States is in trouble. "Religious fanatics are the reason America's in trouble... You are the reason America's in trouble," she stated,
Although the actress continued to rebut him, the man did not seem to be fazed and continued condemning homosexuality. However, the preacher was no match to the star's loud, continuous statements.
She walked up to face him and, spoke over him, saying, "This is not Sodom and Gomorrah. Even Sodom and Gomorrah is not Sodom and Gomorrah."
As the train stopped, the star told the man to go to another train, stating that other people have the right to believe what they believe and, have a right not to be "force-fed" with other people's religious views.
"Jesus never said for you to do this - ever!" she added.
She continued by saying that he shouldn't dare come after her with biblical verses because she "went to f**king Catholic school for 12 years and I know every line."
The actress succeeded in kicking the man off the train and, after he left, she said "Thank God" as people on the train applauded her for standing up for herself and homosexuality.
"And notice I thanked God," she quipped.
DeLaria, who once referred to herself as "That F***ing Dyke", is the first openly gay stand-up comic to have ever found success on late-night talk shows.
