"It feels nice to be husband and wife," Angeline Jolie revealed when asked about what she feels now that she is married to Brad Pitt, who was her partner of almost nine years.
"It does feel different," she said.
Their surprise wedding definitely shocked not only Hollywood but the rest of the world, given that a lot of people actually thought they would just stay engaged to each other forever.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, the Oscar-winning actress admitted that her wedding was comparatively low-key and family-oriented.
Jolie recalled the two weeks leading to their big day: "There was no cake, so Pax made a cake. The kids made little pillows for the rings and Knox practiced [being a ring bearer] with an acorn that kept falling off the pillow. Brad's mom [Jane Pitt] went and picked some flowers and tied them up."
It was definitely a family affair and their children actually did their share for the success of their mom and pop's special day.
Jolie and Pitt's marriage was celebrated Aug. 23 in a non-denominational civil ceremony held inside Château Miraval, their home in southern France. Less than two dozen people-including the bride and groom and their kids were there to witness the event.
Jolie also revealed in the Vanity Fair interview of her plans to run for an elected office.
"I am open," the 39-year-old said.
She relates that if she wants to make an even greater impact, taking on greater responsibilities is a must. She admits that her work as a humanitarian kinda gave her a background in politics. "When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered," she said.
Jolie is the director and special envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
Jolie's current movie outing is a directorial stint in the war drama Unbroken, a movie adaptation from the book of the same. The movie is about the life of Olympian turned anxious war hero and the incredible Louis Zamperini, who passed away at the age of 97 at the end of filming this movie.
