(Photo : Apple Inc.) Apple is planning on expanding its current Apple University program to China, which could be a boost for the entire Asian tech industry.
According to a report by TechinAsia, China could soon have a huge impact on developments within the technology industry, as China-based Apple employees will be given the opportunity to receive top-level executive training.
The news comes following recent experimental success in China conducted by Apple Inc. - leading the company to expand its current Apple University program.

Steve Jobs created the Cupertino, Cali-based Apple University program in 2008. It's a school type atmosphere where Apple's mid-level employees and managers go to be trained on making key executive level strategic decisions within the business world of Apple Inc.
So essentially, the Apple University program's main goal is to train employees into thinking like Steve Jobs. With the effort it's going to take to expand to China, Apple may believe the next Steve Jobs is Chinese, assuming the report from 9to5mac's anonymous source is indeed correct.
Apple has already experimented the program in China according to The New York Times earlier this year, as the company sent professors to China in an effort to teach its China-based employees some Apple University classes on its curriculum. The results must have been successful for the company to want to establish a permanent program there.
According to a report by 9to5mac, Apple Vice President and current Dean of Apple University Joel Podolny is already conducting interviews in an effort to find the new Dean of Apple University that's soon to be located in China.
Apple hasn't officially confirmed anything to the public as of yet, but that shouldn't surprise anyone considering how secretive Apple usually is about Apple University. 9to5mac's anonymous source mentioned that Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed its plans of bringing an Apple University to China in a recent meeting with China-based retail operation staff.
Over the past few years, China has grown into one of Apple's biggest markets for selling products, and with the addition of the first expansion of Apple University, it seems China's also becoming a destination to find top-level business-industry talent.
