During the press conference which was also attended by Eddie Peng, Ni Ni and Wei Chen, the singer-actress performed the song, 'Back in Time,' one of the original motion picture soundtracks of said movie. Just like the actors and actresses featured in the film, Wong also dressed up in a conservative manner, sporting black slacks and a white button-up shirt.
According to media reports, during the interview, she was asked which line is her favorite in the song. When Wong was not able to answer the question, Peng suddenly cracked a joke by reciting the line in the song whicht goes... "Our lotus root is broken, but the threads still connect," relating it to Wong's reconciliation with Tse early last month.
Despite that, Wong, who seemed to be in a pretty good mood during the event, just laughed it off and eventually told the press not to ask too many questions about her.
Peng, who also recorded the theme song for the film, made up for his joke by praising Wong's vocal prowess and charismatic presence onstage. According to the actor, the song is very difficult to sing due to its fast-paced lyrics.
Wong agreed to Peng's sentiments, explaining that she also had to record the song twice because it was difficult to sing. She later revealed that the version she performed at the press conference was recorded just two days before.
As for Wong's career, it has been reported that she is currently preparing for a comeback.
